Padmavati is upcoming Bollywood film which is based on the story of Rajput queen with Alauddin Khilji. Khilji fall in love with the queen but she refused him, it is said the queen committed suicide before Alauddin Khilji take over the fort.
Recently while shooting was going on Sanjay leela Bhansali and his crew was attack by the Karni Sena in Jaipur. They claimed that the film is distorting the history of queen Pabmini.
Sanjay was slapped and they pulled his hair on sets. They give him warning and ask him to cancel the film .They accused that there are love making seen in the film between the queen and Khilji.
The leader of the Sena said that, we had warned filmmaker for exploding history when we came to know about shooting we gather there and start protesting.

Many Bollywood actors stand with the filmmakers and extended their support. The three lead actors tweet and clarify that there is no distortion of history in the film and further told their sole purpose is to share with world the story of courage and power of a women.
On this event the tweet of PM Modi’s got viral which stat; Art can’t have any restriction or limits. This tweet is being use for the protest against Karni Sena. Deepika Padukone say that PM’s tweet is being used to stand up for the right of artists.
The filmmaker says that no distortion is added into the film and is made after taking into considering the emotion of Rajistan and Rajpoot community.
According to some news reporter Sanjay Leela Bhansali has agreed to some demand of Sena and decided to shoot again in the fort of Rajistan where the shooting was being held.
