With the start of new year as there is 12 on the Saturday night nearly 7 out of 10 people want to quit smoking in 2017.

According to the fact sheet provided by centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) more than 480,000 people die annually due to smoking in which almost 278,554 are men where 201,773 women’s die due to smoking every year, these include deaths from secondary smoking also.

According to the centers for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) a person can quit smoking easily if there is some one who provide care, advice and assist the smoker to leave this bad habit.

A medical professional can also be helpful as he suggests the ways to quit smoking that may be counseling, medication or relaxing therapy.

Cigarette contains tar, Nicotine and almost 4000 toxic chemicals,400 of them are toxins while 43 are carcinogenic.

According to Paula Celestino, Roswell Park Cessation Services Project director she said, there are now more ways than ever to help you quit smoking.

She said health care plan can be helpful to quit smoking, but alone will power cannot do this. Paula Celestino suggest to quit smoking as one is like in bed relationships, she added quitting smoking is like losing your best friend but this best friend is you worst enemy.

According to Dr. Antony Hyland PhD,Director of the New York State Smokers’ Quit Line and chair of the Department of Health Behavior at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Director of the New York State Smokers’ Quit Line Smoking rates are gone down in our country.

On average smoker die on average 10 years earlier than the non-smokers and they got more chances of lung cancer, strokes and heart attack. As sooner one leaves smoking his body starts repairing just after 20 minutes of last cigarette.
