Taliban Claimed Responsibility For Deadly Attack On German Consulate In Afghan City

A Taliban suicide bomber rammed a car packed with explosive material into the wall of German consulate in Afghanistan on Thursday, left at least four people killed and dozens injured in Mazar-i-Sharif-a city of Afghanistan.


A suicide bomber of militant group Taliban has picked a car packed with explosives rams his car into the wall of German Consulate in northern Afghanistan city Mazar-i-Sharif, the deadly explosion on Thursday carried out the killings of at least four persons while the number of injured peoples may rise, officials reportedly revealed.

The suicide bombing of explosive car’s responsibility has claimed by extremist group Taliban, the brutal incident called as the “revenge attack” for the last months attack by U.S led coalition military airstrikes in the violent province of Afghanistan-Kunduz, the U.S led coalition attack killed almost 32 civilians in their deadly attack on civilians.

The explosion had caused the heavy damage to German Consulate building where around 30 workers can work with ease while a German military spokesman had reported to Reuters News Agency that there were also unleashed a shooting rampage outside the Consulate building and the NATO was on the site.

The Islamist extremist movement spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid connected via telephone and said, the heavily armed suicide bomber along with numerous others sent to a secret mission to root out German consulate, the mission was to kill the German Consulate General and whoever who halt hurdle in their way.

The wounded persons has been rescued to Mazar-i-Sharif provincial hospital, Noor Muhammad Fiaz who is the head doctor of Provincial hospital opened four dead bodies along with 120 injured people rushed to hospital and may be the injured toll will increase.

Taliban movement spokesman has declared German Consulate attack a “revenge attack”.
