Like other renowned Hollywood celebrities as Katy Perry and Julianne Moore, Scarlett Johansson has also set all to become part of the upcoming Women’s March on Washington that will be held on 21 January, a day after Donald Trump is inaugurated into the White House.
Latest reports, more than 200,000 women have decided to join the march on 21 January, the day after President-Elect’s inauguration.
The American females will walk in the streets of Washington DC carrying a campaign against the president-elect and Scarlett Johansson also wants to support women and for this she will raise her voice against the Trump’s administration for striking women’s reproductive rights with its stance against abortion and Planned Parenthood.
The 32-year-old America Ferrera who known for her act Ugly Betty all around the world will also take part in this protest as she also believes Trump ruling could be disturbing for women in future.
Ferrera and so many other women also have decided to raise their voices together in solidarity for the dignity, rights of our communities and protection.
We have learnt from latest accounts that some other well-known celebrities will join the Women’s March on Washington on 21 January, such as Uzo Aduba, Cher, Patricia Arquette, Zendaya, Olivia Wilde, Debra Messing, Jessica Chastain and Frances McDormand.
It is also said to be that one of the most popular comedians and talk show anchor Chelsea Handler to lead relevant demonstration in Park City, Utah, where the Sundance Film Festival to be held. However, over 100 protests have reportedly planned worldwide against the current president Donald Trump.
Nonetheless, forthcoming women’s March 9 in streets of Washington DC is supposed to be the biggest movement which reportedly to be occurred close to the United States Capitol building.
