Megyn Kelly Leave FOX News After Spending Her 12 Years, Announces On Friday Night

Megyn Kelly after her long career with Fox news Announced to say Goodbye to Fox news in an end Friday night with the final episode of her “The Kelly File”.


Megyn Marie Kelly, 46 is and American journalist, a former corporate defense attorney and a political commentator she was born on November 18, 1970.she worked for Fox News, and in January 2017 she joined NBC News.

Megyn Kelly ended her 12-year run at Fox News on Friday night with the final installment of “The Kelly File”. Kelly also thanked viewers for making her 9 p.m. program, the network’s second-most watched show behind, “The O’Reilly Factor”, her 8 p.m. lead-in, Kelly’s heartfelt sign-off came three days after she announces her goodbye to Fox news and moving to NBC news Later.

According to sources, Megyn Marie Kelly told viewers “I’m sincerely grateful for your trust, your patience and your good humor over the years, which is one of the reasons saying goodbye is so hard,”.

She also made it clear that she wasn’t going away for good although she did not mention NBC news. She added “I leave you knowing I am better for having been here. Thank you for everything, and I’ll see you again soon,” she said. Kelly is now set to host a daytime news program for NBC network as well as a Sunday night newsmagazine.

She will also be a contributor to news coverage of major events. Her start on NBC is not expected to come for several months, as her Fox News contract runs through July.

On Thursday, Fox News confirmed plans to shuffle its prime-time lineup in the wake of Kelly’s departure. Tucker Carlson, the veteran cable pundit who took over Fox News’ 7 p.m. in November, is moving up to 9 p.m., on Monday.
