Finally Donald Trump Takes Oath, Cardinal Dolan Prays For Wisdom

Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York has requested God to show his wisdom as Donald J. Trump took office by swearing as the 45th president of the United States on 20 January, 2017 (Friday) at Washington D.C.


Dolan prayed saying ‘O God’ please show your wisdom as new man with cruel intentions has sworn as next president of United States, we all are slaves but weak, asked God for lacking in comprehension of judgment and of laws.

He prayed from ninth chapter of the Book of Wisdom at the 58th US Presidential appointment on last day, on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol building steps. During Donald’s oath taking ceremony Cardinal Dolan prayed for God’s wisdom for the United States future.

However, the Republican Donald Trump sworn of Office administered in presence of Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts, though there was no revealed about the Inauguration attendance, but if sources’ reports are to be deemed, number of presence was less than the United States President Barack Obama’s 2009 Inauguration.

While, former American presidents such as Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton were part of the Donald Trump’s inaugural ceremony, even Barack Obama too.

Although, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), described a noticeable chorus of ‘Trump!’ chants among the attendance, though former vice presidents Dick Cheney and Dan Quayle both were also there.

Nevertheless, Trump’s ceremony was called a “celebration of democracy” by Chair of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) and wished that their nation will be in safe hands in future.

By considering Trump’s appointment, lots of prayers were carried out by Bishop Wayne T. Jackson of Great Faith Ministries International, Rev. Dr. Samuel Rodriguez of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York, invocation by Pastor Paula White-Cain of the New Destiny Christian Center and Rev. Franklin Graham of Samaritan’s Purse.
