Canadian Singer Leonard Cohen Rock Music Poetic Visionary Laid To Rest At The Age Of 82

The rock music’s man of letters Leonard Cohen has been passed away on Monday but as the news claimed hours after, the Canadian singer Leonard Cohen buried yesterday.


The “Hallelujah” singer has been laid to rest at the age of 82 in private Montreal ceremony although the prolific singer passed away earlier on 7 September but due to late broke out of news his body buried yesterday.

The rock musician man of letters whose songs collection fussed with religious imagery as well as included the poetic vision, theme of redemption and sexual desire that critically enable him to earn much fame.

The sorrow news of his death broke out by a friend on 11 November, a close friend of Leonard Cohen revealed the funeral have already been held and buried yesterday.

A statement flaunting about RIP Leonard Cohen Facebook page which can be read as, “It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away, We have lost one of music’s most revered and prolific visionaries.”

The Sony has confirmed the sad news that the singer rest in peach on 11th November after releasing 14th album titled as “You Want It Darker”.

Singer Leonard Norman Cohen who was born on 21st September of 1934 initiated his musical career by launching his first album “Songs of Leonard Cohen” in 1967, his rock music explored politics, religion, personal relationship, isolation and sexuality, and he was not a singer but also a songwriter, novelist and poet as well.

Leonard Cohen received the nation’s biggest honor in 2011 while he awarded with Prince of Asturias Awards for literature and received the ninth Glenn Gould Prize.

The folk singer died on 7th November of 2016 at the age of 82 but the reason for the dead is not year disclosed.
